Vienna Rains

Today was wonderful in the rains of Vienna. After waking up to a great
Austrian breakfast provided by my couchsurfing host, Andrea, we headed
out by train and sub to her school in the city. For the end of this
semester she works for her school's radio station for part of her
studies so she invited me to do a radio interview on my experience
with couchsurfing.

She brought me to a recording room with the pro mic and sound
equipment then we busted out the interview. It was very fun. I'll try
to get the radio session from her to share.

Andrea then gave brought to all the popular Vienna sights. My favorite
sight was definitally the gardens behind Vienna's Castle.

Cold rain prevented any comfortable opportunities to skip through the
gardens but it didn't stop us from experiencing the city life and a
nice cup of Vienna melang with apple strudle. Melang is a delicious
cappuccino type drink but a little creamier and with a nice sweet cap
of whipped cream. Mmm, it's the best coffee of Europe that I've had so
far.

After walking around with our shared umbrella we went home and ate
great spaghetti dinner and watched a movie while we finished our
laundry.

Although the rains of Vienna were beautiful I, for some reason, am in
the mood for sunny and warm weather even perhaps while on the beach.
So now I'm on my way to Paris for a day and then overnight I will go
to Lisbon, Portugal.
